Fear of Loss, Void of Love

Release, release oh you foul that hold on
Release, release what is already gone.

I'm vanishing fearful into the night sky
As an angel gently blinks her third eye.

Head full, clouds fluff,
I cringe as I slowly look up

To notice a twig resting at ease
Falling victim to this soft fall breeze.

Release, release oh you foul that hold on
Release, release what is already gone.

To fall is to fly
And to fly is to die...
Just as the angel who opened her eye.

Don't fret, don't fear
is all I can hear
Even as I climb to a new frontier.

Yet with one last breath,
I tumble to my monstrous death.

Release, release oh you foul that hold on
Release, release what is already gone.
